SYNOPSIS

In the summer of 2019, Berlin becomes a canvas for the spontaneous imagination of the filmmaker. 

Two Children Playing in a Sandbox presents raw, unplanned footage,

overlaid with commentary in the style of John Smith’s The Girl Chewing Gum.

As the director narrates, Berlin subtly reshapes itself, bending to the filmmaker’s whims and perceptions.

This playful short film explores the tension between reality and artistic interpretation,

where the city transforms to fit the narrative of the director’s mind.
